Jessica Zuk spent a semester abroad in India, focusing her studies on sustainable development and social change in a globalized context. From discovering seed conservation tactics in rural parts of Punjab, to learning the crux of sustainability in terms of accessibility, she spent the majority of her time working on an independent project in Kerala, India. The following images are derived from her final report, interviewing local tourism hotspots without the use of technology, but rather following the path of local communicated knowledge.

The following images were compiled to produce her own book about issues her hometown faces, the tourism industry and the booming nature of the Blue Ridge Parkway.
